JAY-Z – The Story of O.J.

jay-z-444Jay Z has release an album that has the community either loving or hating him. In this album talks about cheating on Beyonce and apologizes also he hits some issues head on.

The O. J. Simpson trial being one the topics.

“Light nigga, dark nigga, faux nigga, real nigga
Rich nigga, poor nigga, house nigga, field nigga
Still nigga, still nigga
I like that second one
Light nigga, dark nigga, faux nigga, real nigga
Rich nigga, poor nigga, house nigga, field nigga
Still nigga, still nigga”

Jay Z uses this chorus because these are titles the black culture uses to separate themselves. In the song Jay points out a comment O.J. said;

“I’m not black I’m O.J.”

This statement seems to mean so much because Jay Z feels your skin color is the biggest fight you have in a racist war.

So often people own who they are when things are good, then throw all of it away when things are bad. Black is beautiful don’t separate yourself from others because of skin. Jay Z gets in and he it seem he wants you to know the same thing.
