Brian Friedman, for those who don’t know, is one of the most sought after choreographer, director, and dancers of our generation. Brian began dancing at the age of 11 in his hometown of Scottsdale, Arizona, and appeared in various dance shows including Newsies, and Kids Incorporated. As a young dancer he trained under pioneers like Joe Tremaine, Kenny Ortega, Vince Patterson, and Twyla Tharp and in no time was dancing for artists such as Michael Jackson, Paula Abdul, Celine Dion, and Britney Spears. Friedman has choreographed for Spears, Nicole Scherzinger, Justin Bieber, Beyonce, and Rihanna to name a few.
In the fall of 2017 Brian announced his leave from Pulse to join newly founded Radix Dance Convention. Sister convention to JUMP, Nuvo, and 24/7, Radix’ attendance has already surpassed expectations. Of course with faculty members like Brian, Tessandra Chavez, Talia Favia, and Mamma Beast herself Janelle Ginestra, who wouldn’t want to go?
Friedman is creative director of Radix now bringing in fresh new ideas such as the Radix Dance Fix Series. This consists of Brian releasing a video every Tuesday and Thursday of classes from every single Radix city! Watch the Radix Dance Fix Promo Here.
