Mia Mugavero was born November 1st 2003 in Illinois. She has been dancing since she was 3 years old taking: tap, jazz, lyrical and ballet. Mia started competing at 8 years old. She has won numerous regional titles, national awards, and scholarships and was on an episode of “Dance Moms”. In 2016, Mia decided to take her love and passion for dance on her own path that year. She trained strictly in ballet at Faubourg Ballet under Waltmora Casey, and would take hip hop classes in Chicago in the late evenings. She has always loved hip-hop. Many people don’t know that Mia self- taught herself hip hop by watching IMMABEAST videos with “Willdabeast”Adams , and Janelle Ginestra on YouTube in her dance room at home.
As Mia stayed consistent in her training she became a Pulse Protégé that year, dance backup for Justin Bieber, danced in video with Ashley Everett, signed with Clear Talent Group (CTG). Success was moving in positive direction for Mia. It was the summer of 2016 where her biggest goal and dream became a reality. She was now part of IMMABEAST. Her parents Nick and Samantha moved her to Los Angeles to pursue her professional dancing career. As Mia has entered L.A, she has been training and can been seen in many videos from numerous top choreographers in the industry. She has performed with IMMABEAST under the direction of “Willdabeast” at WOD, and TED Talks, music video for “Betty Who” and “DJ Alesso”. She has worked on the set for Awesomeness TV for the series Dance Battle. She has booked several commercials, and is a Brand Ambassador for Discount Dance. She is an ivivva ambassador and media host. Mia is building her brand “MeanMuggin03”, and will continue to be on the rise.
